Women supporting women
Several months ago, I had a vision of a women & business circle. A sacred space for sisters to gather monthly, sharing their expansive visions for bringing forth their gifts, receiving feedback and support as well as helping lift each other up and move past limiting beliefs.
It’s been almost a year since I brought the 5 of us together and let me tell you, the magic that has transpired is powerful and rippling out to our community and beyond.
Last weekend we gathered for our second day long retreat. We started the day by building an altar, sharing what’s been going on in our businesses, what we’d like help on, sharing a delicious lunch and having fun taking photos of each other for marketing.
It’s amazing to watch these sisters grow over time and push themselves beyond their comfort zones. We all hold unique perspectives, and I believe that’s what makes this support system work so well!
It is not always that I follow through on a vision that I have, but I’m so glad I did with this one. I love bringing women together in all the different facets.
It definitely has me ruminating on this question: What if instead of ‘smashing the patriarchy’ we focus on building up the Matriarchy?
